something to think about: "The only question in life is whether or not you are going to answer a hearty 'YES!' to your adventure. " -Joseph Campbell

Calling all runners and running fans:
As some of you may know, I am still on vacation and have been enjoying every second of it. Today I slept in until 9am, woke up and went out to get my car washed. Now I know that in order to beat the crowds, the time to go is in the morning. I was in and out in about 35 minutes, and usually it takes me over an hour. After my car wash, I came home and started doing some reading. People may ask where does Sal get his inspiration/motivation to do the things that come to mind? Well, good thing you asked. I usually like to read about people that are successful and can offer me the knowledge to learn from. I enjoy reading others' experiences and adventures; successful and not so, the point is that I have something to learn. Recently I was introduced to Mixergy.com, which is an online blog that conducts interviews and focuses on creating inspiration for entrepreneurs by focusing on successful ones that have made it happen and their stories. This blog is run by its founder, a very successful entrepreneur himself, Andrew Warner, who I have found to be a very passionate, humble and carrying individual thus far. Today I had the wonderful opportunity to listen to the interview with Brian Johnson, an entrepreneur that has successfully launched three companies, his latest one being Philosopher's Notes ( similar but better than cliff notes) . I would have to say that it was a truly inspiring and mesmerizing experience and everyone reading this blog owe it to themselves to go and check out this interview with Brian Johnson or any other on Mixergy.com
After the productive knowledge intake at Mixergy.com, I decided to go out for a very long run, a 20 miler to be precise. I started my run at around 330pm. The weather was hot and sunny but with a nice cool breeze which made it perfect. I did my run on Victoria St. towards Downtown Riverside and occasionally made some turns into open fields in both directions. One of the truly great things about running here in Riverside is the deliciously juicy oranges that are so conveniently dangling along the side of the trails. Today I have to admit I had a total of 5 oranges~ CAN WE SAY VITAMIN C OVERDOSE? lol. I finished my run and headed home to a nice hefty plate of garlic chicken over brown rice....yum. The run took me a total of 2 hours and 35 minutes. As i am blogging this I am eating ginger candy and drinking lots and lots of refreshing water.....living our lifestyle on the run, R U ?
